Chromium plated Ronson Standard pocket lighter with a silver-gray GLOW enamel finish and an unused monogram shield. This color enamel color is uncommon and in very nice condition. Look closely any you'll see it has a shimmering, faux hammered appearance. This Standard is in excellent condition and show only the subtlest of scuffing to the chrome and enamel – especially considering its age. There is a small amount of wear on the base of the lighter (see photo #4), but body and firing mechanism are quite beautiful. This Standard was made in Newark, NJ and marked with the U.S. patent number.
This lighter works well and is suitable for daily use. It will be shipped with a flint and without fluid. (Please do not store this lighter with the flint though, as it will deteriorate and become impacted over time.) I've fully disassembled and cleaned the firing mechanism, unblocked the flint chamber, trimmed and tested the original wick, installed a new rubber seal for the fuel chamber screw, and restored this lighter to full working order. I've provided high quality photos to offer the best preview of this lighter's condition. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.
