This book is full of needlepoint and crewel patterns adapted from historic American images. It is copyrighted in 1975 by the author Leslie Tillett. This book was published to celebrate the Bi-Centennial. The patterns in this book would work well as inspirations for other forms of needlework or art projects. There are 144 pages and 28 patterns. Each pattern includes a picture and brief background of the inspiration piece plus a picture of the completed piece. The book measures ten by almost nine inches.
