The vintage J.C. Higgins (Sears Roebuck Co.) train case measures 10 1/2" x 14 1/2" and is 8" in height. The case is a rusty brown colored vinyl. The interior of the case is lined with the same rusty brown color in a textured vinyl and has two adjustable holders for cosmetics and the top is fitted with a full sized mirror. The exterior vinyl has some scuff marks as does the interior vinyl – but the vinyl at exterior and interior is in very good vintage condition. The mirror at interior has a "cloudy" look. Both of the locks function – sorry no key. The stitching at exterior of case is in excellent condition. The interior and exterior of the case are in excellent vintage condition. The hardware on the case is brass colored and is slightly tarnished. The train case is vintage 1940s.
