This is a Norman Rockwell picture plate that was put out in 1983 by the Knowles Fine China Company. It is titled The Painter;.It shows a man (father) with his little girl looking over his shoulder as they both admire the finishing touches put on her doll.
The back of the plate states: The Plate numbered only limited edition of Norman Rockwell. The seventh in an annual series. Certified by the Rockwell Society of America and granted the seal of endorsement and authentication of the the Norman Rockwell Family Trust. Made in an editiion permanently closed on May 10, 1986, by Knowles, North America oldest name in fine china. This plate also has a separate paper certification.
The plate is 8.5 inches in diameter and in excellent condition
