SALE Ronson "Pal" cigarette case with lighter combo from 1941. This beauty of a lighter has a tortoise pattern style. The Pal style lighter was featured in Ronson's very own catalog. A must for the fashionable. The body is chromium plated with enamel sections in two tones. They are a tortoise shell brown. Stunning to pull out of your purse ladies. use it to carry business cards and everyone will remember you. Fun place for tissue, and more. Absolutely fabulous vintage find. The case holds 10 regular size cigarettes. Great size, compact, easy to carry. Normal Vintage wear, please see photos. I have not buffed or polished this chrome or enamel.
Ronson Pal, or Pocket Pal, Case Lighter in pristine working condition. The Art Deco design front consists of two outer panels of light faux tortoise shell framing a large panel of dark faux tortoise shell. All three panels are trimmed in chrome. The center panel has an extended diamond-shaped cartouche The back has a dark faux tortoise shell field framed in chrome. All four sides are high polished chrome. Inside, both the cigarette compartment and the inside door have a machine tooled overlapping swirl design. The removeable lighter is all chromed. It is hallmarked "RONSON" on the holder bar and on the lighter's snuffer frame. It is also hallmarked "RONSON – PAL – NEWARK, NJ USA" on the underside of the lighter. It measures 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide by 9/16 inch thick. The cigarette compartment measures 2 13/16 inches tall by 1 7/8 inches wide. It will accommodate cigarettes no longer than 2 13/16 inches in length.
